A Modern Greek White That Redefines Freshness and Character
The Black Sheep White is part of the modern and distinctive line of Nico Lazaridi wines, created to highlight individuality and freshness.
Produced at the Mackedon Winery in Platanotopos, near the vineyards where the grapes are cultivated, this wine embodies the contemporary philosophy of accessibility and character. Crafted from Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon, it presents a harmonious balance of varietal expression and refreshing style.
Vinification Techniques
Fermentation takes place at low temperatures to preserve the integrity of primary aromas. The wine undergoes short maturation on fine lees, which enhances texture and aromatic complexity while maintaining its vibrant freshness.

Tasting Notes
Pale yellow in color, The Black Sheep White offers pronounced aromas of lime, lychee, grapefruit, peach, and nectarine, with subtle grassy notes. On the palate, it delivers pleasant acidity and a medium body, while the flavors echo the aromatic intensity of the nose. The finish is clean, balanced, and refreshing.
Aging
This wine will respond well to aging for up to 2-3 years after harvest, allowing its character to remain lively while gaining subtle layers of complexity.
Perfect Pairing
Serve at 8-10˚C. The Black Sheep White pairs beautifully with seafood salads, lean white meats, and pasta with light sauces, making it an excellent choice for both everyday dining and curated wine programs.
