A Modern Greek Red that Celebrates Character and Creative Freedom
The Black Sheep is an unconventional expression of Greek red wines, carrying an eccentric name that highlights its individuality and modern philosophy.
With its contemporary presentation, screw cap, and fresh character, it reflects a new generation of wines crafted to stand out. Produced at the Mackedon Winery in Platanotopos, Kavala, from vineyards located nearby, The Black Sheep embodies both originality and approachability in a single bottle.
Vinification Techniques
Following classic dry red wine vinification, the blend of Syrah and Merlot matures for 4-6 months in stainless steel tanks with oak chips. This method enhances structure and aromatic intensity while preserving freshness and the wine’s vibrant style.
