King of Hearts is an everyday yet precious Greek red wine that embodies both approachability and charm. Created by Nico Lazaridi through the Mackedon Winery in 2011,

it represents a category of wines designed to be closer to daily life. With its blend of the international Merlot and the indigenous Xinomavro, this wine offers both familiarity and a touch of Greek tradition.

Vinification Techniques
Produced through classic red wine vinification, the process highlights the fruit-forward character of Merlot while preserving the herbal and structured qualities of Xinomavro.

Tasting Notes
Medium purple in color, King of Hearts reveals a bouquet of red fruits such as cherry, raspberry, and plum, balanced with herbal undertones and subtle notes of tomato. On the palate, silky tannins and fresh acidity awaken the senses, while the aromatic aftertaste leaves a lasting impression.

Aging
This dry red wine will respond well to aging for up to 2-3 years after harvest, offering enjoyable development within its youthful and vibrant character.
